Shepherds Friendly Insurance

As the oldest financial Mutual society in the UK , Shepherds Friendly had a large amount of paper documents going back many years. The logistics of storing these documents indefinitely involved a continual requirement for space, cost and resources. Despite this the decision to go paperless was not an easy one due to the sensitivity and age of the documents. An initial enquiry process was undertook to identify if a large quantity of documents could be handled whist maintaining the integrity of the data. After visiting numerous suppliers I was extremely impressed by the professionalism and high standard of communication EDS provided from the initial meeting Also the standard of facilities, internal staff and management was extremely impressive I had the immediate feeling this was a highly professional outfit who could deliver the security and quality requirements a company such as ours needed. I am pleased to say Shepherds were not disappointed. The whole project has gone to plan and we have always been treated with respect and professionalism throughout I have visited the site numerous times and found all the documents to be stored neatly, professionally and securely. Throughout the project no request or requirement was a problem and the high standard of service was maintained throughout. I would have no problem recommending EDS to anyone thinking of using their services and we will be using them for years to come. In my industry quality of service is everything and EDS are up there with the best.

“We implemented EDSs Document Management System several years ago and are fully electronic for all document archiving. In the early days we utilised the scanning service to help get things started. It was great to learn how the process should be done and the amount of scanning that can be achieved daily. The largest benefit has been the speed in which archived documents can be viewed.
